Openings for Fall 2024-2025

Now enrolling for 2024-2025 preschool year!

I’ve been teaching for 19 years and offer a home environment with a large, separate classroom setting. I can help prepare your child for school academically, socially and structurally.  My lessons are geared toward individual children’s needs.  I help develop and encourage growth of intelligence, imagination, responsibility and character.

Our typical day includes the Pledge of Allegiance, homework reviews, assignment of jobs for the day, academic introduction and reviews, calendar, manners, writing, phonics, story time, singing time, snack time, art, rotations with reinforcing academics through crafts, activities and games.

What you can expect they'll learn:
ü  Math Readiness through shapes, colors, patterns, counting in English and Spanish, recognition and writing their numbers 1-20
ü  Language through recognition, writing, sounds, uppercase, lowercase, sign language of the alphabet, early Spanish and beginning kindergarten sight words.
ü  Structure, time management, interactive skills, social development, confidence through independence, responsibility, pride in a job well done and more

Extras include visits from community helpers (police, fireman, dentist...), your child's own special VIP days, birthdays (or ½ birthdays), history and celebration of holidays, winter holiday program, graduation program to showcase what they have learned and your copy of pictures from your child's adventures in preschool.

  2. Mrs. Hammer is an outstanding preschool teacher who kickstarted my child's love for learning by building strong foundations. Her classroom environment is warm and inviting. She sparked my child's curiosity and made learning an adventure. Mrs. Hammer recognizes their strengths and adapts her teaching to meet their needs. I can't thank Mrs. Hammer enough for her incredible impact she's had on my child's love for learning. I give her my highest recommendation!
